so i called auto speed and the kit starts around 15,000 but i was thinking if im going to spen 15,000 i should go by the turbos myself for 1,000 a piece get custom manifolds and a standalone but ive never seen or heard of an s4 with a stand alone i dont want to spend 8,000 on small k04s your basically paying for software but i was just thinking what you guys think about standalone and if you have ever seen an s4 with one thanks..

Talk to 034motorsports www.034motorsport.com/ about stand alone..they do GREAT stuff. And have prob one of the fastest audis in teh country...putting out massive power.. (its a 5 cyl[:-])

As far as not wanting to spend 8k on k04's... but 15k on gt28... I don tknow.. Im not sold on teh GT for the S yet.. I still havent really seen any numbers or anything that qualifies for paying nearly double the price. So far the only 1/4 mile ive heard run out of them has been an 11.9 (i think).it was upper 11's. Which dont get me wrong is quick..and they say theyre still working some stuff out and it wasnt tuned...but take a look at jaybquick..hes running 11.5 on k04's. I just dont know, they put out more power, theres no doubt..but you lose some of that bottom end...

 

Did you happen to see the new issue of Sport Compact Car? An 01 S4 won the street car of the year and it dynoes 500hp on ko4s and ranin the 11s.

 

By the way the ECU used in that car was just a reflashed GIAC piece which saves a heck of a lot of hassle over using a stand alone system.

 

Ilike where yellrs is going with this though something new and crazy if you got the cash good luck. and anything can be made if the price is right. plus I have been hearing about these S4's in SoCal coming out with 1000 plus horsepower. Has anyone else heard or seen anything like that?

flip..you have any sort of link to that car... Ive never seen a k04 car DYNO 500+ hp..

that 9 second poland car is completely revamped btw.
