Default thinking of coming back to audi again

Hi. well Ive been gone for a while. Went from A4 to a C300 4-Matic, to a Lexus IS250. Both cars have been terrible maybe because I'm used to audi's character. The benz was unmodable and boring along with the lexus. I know that the S4 (B6,B7) are unmodable basicly but they come with enough power from the factory. Basicly my question's are: what to look for when shopping for the car, common problem's, what are the price's, how much is extened warrenty?

i just bought a 5 year 100k mile warranty full powertrain for $2700 through dependable warranty group for my b5 s4. there are plenty of mods for the b6 and b7's. im not sure about things to look for tho since i dont own one and im new to audi myself, former bmw owner.

HA! That Merc is an old people car. Lex is just a simple Toyota. Perhaps not as peppy stock vs stock, but I choose my B5 S4 over the newer B6 because of its mod-ability, and efficient fuel consumption over the V8 vs. power output. Eh, its up to you.....Audi....you cant go wrong.

Well in the Lexus' defense I think it would be a little more fair to compare it to an A4.

I think the is350 is more up the S4 alley.

Just buy an S4 and be done with it.

Just curious, how have you purchased and unloaded 2 new (or fairly new) vehicles in such a short span of time?
Did you take a big hit on resale/trade-in?

I really dislike all lexus car's. I find them boring over rated so the is350 is out of the question. The is didnt even come with heated seats!! plus the seats fell like **** they looked like crap after 30k miles on the clock.

10-4

I'd have to agree with you on the lexus leather.

If I had to drive a benz it would probably be a 2004 c32 AMG, for its funtionality+performance.

Well If your determined to trump both the Lexus and the Benz you should probably go B7 IMO. The B6 and B5 may seem a little dated when compared to those 2 newer cars. Probably because they should.
Anyway, just a suggestion.

I know I'll probably get flamed for saying this but I think the 335xi is a great package.
They usually get rave reviews from alot of different sources. The 3 series was already a winning recipe and now it's awd.
I have a friend with an 07 335 xi and she absolutely loves it.
She was and still is a huge VW fan, too.

as a previous bmw owner im going to have to second the 335xi as an amazing car. i know some one who was debating whether b7 rs4 or a 335xi and got the bmw. i would love to have one of those over my b5 s4 but those are a good 3 times more expensive...

the 335xi's are very nice

Id get a 335xi coupe over a b6/b7 S4. I still prefer the B5 S4 over the 335 because it has more character(cult car also). I also like Quattro alot and have heard its much better than BMW's AWD for snow/rain/ice. Im sure on dry pavement it dosnt really matter. But thats beside the point.

Get a 335xi coupe IMO
