Default turbo size question

First=k03
then k04
what comes after the k04
I know there are some hybrids and k04s are main stream
Iv read stuff about k04/16?
How does all this work. Im getting ready to do a turbo upgrade and i want something a little bigger with more cfm then a k04 but im not looking to go as big as a gt series or anything like that. Im thinking a hybrid turbo because im not really wanting to have to change the exhaust manifolds out but that might be the only option.

k03's
k04's
k04/hybrids.. which can be ko4/rs6 or k04/k16 , as well as someothers... more gains than pj k04's, but not too much more
rs6's
gt's - whether small gt's like the GT2554's or bigger ones like the GT28's

I think if you can handle it.. rs6's are a little more than k04's and the kit's are around 6000. ASP just did a 93 pump dyno and hit 492 hp IIRC whp!! that's about 600chp! JHM is working on a rs6 kit too. The car has been through a lot of upgrades however. here is the link :

there are more and more GT cars being built right now, so it's going to be a big year for the S4. Im gonna stick with my K04's for now

call up or email Blouch for pricing for some hybrids

That $6000 is rs6's plus fueling/tuning ... i think jhm is selling rs6 turbos for $3,333 iirc, but he's working on the tuning.
