Yeah some automatically adjust run time depending on speed/rpm/temperature of your drive. It was cool while i had it. Alot of "hey you do know your cars running right". But honestly if i drive it hard enough that i think it needs a cool down im just gonna let it run in my driveway for 10 minutes, i see no need to sit in it..... IMO glove box is the way to go.

I actually own 2.... one (the greddy) is installed in my dash where the cup holder used to be, it was about $200. Power runs to it and as far as the programming on it its all on and functioning, but when i shut the car off the turbo timer itself starts buzzing and then the car shuts off after a couple seconds. I have been told it is probably a broken relay inside the device.

My second is a brand new Apexi turbo timer (the pen sized one) and it is sitting in my trunk NIB, it cost about $120 a month ago. Havent decided if im going to put it on yet, but Drobrt just sent me a PM offering to buy it. Well see what happens....

Wow dude that exactly how i had it done. Looks better with aluminum trim than wood...

I was very disappointed about the gap around the outside. If i had known that would be there i would have just stuck it in my glove-box. Mine looks sloppy, but i have very high expectations. The blue light would **** me off, so i would set it to the volt meter so it would be red to match my interior haha. Now i have no turbo timer, and no cup holder. WTF. Im sure yours will be fine, my friend has had his greddy Turbo timer for over 4 years on his 300zx TT with no problems. Mine was just a result of my bad luck, and in my opinion a couple douchebags at a car audio store.

hp where you from? I am in Nashua, NH near Boomers. Their work does suck. I had a amp installed from them with a custom box. The worst work I have ever seen.

I live in hollis right nexto you, i actually own Lull Farm on broad st.

I have seen good stuff from Boomers, my friend with the Z had a flip out DVD screen, all new speakers, and the "trunk/hatch" custom boxed and carpeted to fit his 2 subs and amp, They did a great job and made a space JUST the right size and shape to fit his t-tops in it. However the overwhelming negative feedback other than that and my personal experience makes me uneasy. The first time i ordered the turbo timer it was out of stock and they said they would call me when they got it. 4 months later, after i had allready paid, i went back and it wasnt there. i assume they just sold it to someone else. SO i had to order a second one. I dont think ill ever go there again. DO you know anywhere within say an hour that has a good reputation for stereo work?
