hey guys,

I was just out driving and decided to push it from a standstill. to my surpirse, i didn't have the power i'm accustomed to after the 4K RPM mark...for those who drive this car, the power that sits you back in your seat.

prior to this, I haven't been hearing anything unusual from the turbos. does this sound like a bad turbo or perhaps loss of pressure due to a bad hose/wastegate or something?

car has been well taken care of for 86K miles.

ideas?

 

little more details?? got a boost gauge??

 

It could possibly be a boost leak somewhere. I would say try and hook up a boost gauge and see if it's dropping off.

thanks, appreciate the help. i've got a buddy with a TT who has a vag-com...i'll hook that up and see what it turns up.

BTW 2KS4, with all those mods, what kind of hp are you running??
