How much are replacement turbos for 2000 s4?

 

if you want stock ko3's i've got a pair that are in great condition for sale!!!!

otherwise, ko4's are the next upgrade

 

WELL...that depends...K03's are the stock turbos, which I believe can run you around 1500-2000 for a pair. BUT if you are going to replace them you might as well go big and get the RS4 turbos, which are k04's. A price on those I am not too sure, I can't imagine it being too much more. You can always do a hybrid or buy used/rebuilt turbos, and the price can vary with those as well.

rs4 turbo's are different from k04's, ko4's are bigger better turbos. the rs4 is a small trim k04.

 

k04's shouold run 2-2500 rougly. For just the turbos.

 

The k04 is they way to go I just picked up a pair. I have yet to install them I need to get all the intake plumbing.

Just for the record RS4 has k04's

RS4 turbo= k04

altho there are several ko4's for instance

RS6 has k04's but they are bigger than the RS4 k04's

The audi 225 TT has a k04 on it and it is bigger than the S4 k04

But the k04 for the 1.8 is smaller

besides the 2.5k for the k04turbos. . . what does all the intake and hose work cost to get it in a 00/01 s4? do you NEED to chip it if the turbos are switched?

 

you don't have to chip the carif you have the k04's on, it will run fine on a stock program from what I heard, but you will notice almost 0 performance gain at stock boost
