Can someone define hybrid turbos and if you do install K04's and you chip it with DV's is there a performance difference between a K03 chipped car and a K04 chipped car? I hope you all understand that....lol

 

Hybrid turbos are using a K03 turbo housing with an exhaust impeller from a stock K03 turbo and a Bigger impeller for the intake side, witch means lower shaft speed for more boost. a set of K03/K16 willput you in the 400 Hp range with a 1.0Bar K03 chip like Giac or APR. If youadd a fueling kit and software you'll be in the 480 Hp range. A set of K04 + inlet plumbing (required)=+++$$$ + fueling kit will get you in the 500 Hp. Both K03/K16 and K04 will deliver small improvment in performance if manage with the stock chip. Correct me if im wrong guy's
Prepare yourself to throw 2500 $ + install for a set of hybrid or more likely 3500 for a set of K04 including inlet plumbing + install. Install is not cheap.
