K04s took a dump on me. so i picked up some k03s for cheap. put them in this weekend so car drives fine again.

Off topic but if you don't mind telling me, how many miles were on the k04s and how much boost were you running?

 

Want to sell them to me??? The blown turbos?

^^^bingo. I will be keeping the turbos and having them rebuilt into k04/997s, for my 6spd i am looking for. they had about 60k on them at only 18psi. I think the problem just came down the stock oil lines clogging up...i did some serious cleaning of them...the sludge build up was gross.

 

That's definitely unfortunate man. Glad to see you're migrating to a 6 speed You going to stick with Nogaro?

 

the plan is to stick with nogaro. My only other option is laser red. It may be sometime before i find the right one....but i will be sure its worth it.

I had plans to do the swap, and have half of the parts, but at this point, since i need the k04s hybrid built, i will just save the money and drop them in a purchased 6spd. So i think im going to do something with the RS4 gearbox Ive got here....just not sure what.
