The Car is an 02 S4 B5
Vag-Com gives me random misfire, misfire cyl 5, and misfire cyl 2. I replaced the coil pack and plug in cyl 5 and the car worked great for around 20 min. then back to rough idel and even rougher driving. If I get on it at all the CEL starts blinking. The car also gets very bad MPG now. And advice would be helpfull.

 

you should replace all of the CPs at the same time. I had a similar issue when mine went. One went bad,replaced it and everything was fine for a few days.then the other 3 went all at once. i bet thats your problem

 

What gap did you put your spark plugs at? There is a lot of wrong info out there about spark plug gap. The OEM specs are .016 - .024 inches.

 

Are your plugs getting fouled up? Check 'em to see if they are getting soaked in gas.

 

coil packs orrr the part that controls the coil packs. i cant remember the name
