very hard to pick which S4 to get~ please help
Unfortunately, both of them are sold and now im facing a tough decision again... i will be getting a S4 this weekend and i have 3 choices that i dont know which to get ...
1) 2001 Silver/black leather interior, 94xxx miles, car has a few mods, evo motorsports intake, evo motorsports diverter valves, abt sportline muffler with custom piping, GIAC ecu programing, hp racing sway bars, RS4 clutch, stasis street sport coilovers, stern beast 18 in rims, brand new turbos replaced by Audi dealer have paperwork for it.
private seller, $14.5k
2) 2001 White/sport package interior, 75xxx miles, some mods including KONI shocks and H&R springs, APR ECU, clean no scratches exterior
dealer, $17k with tax and everything
3) 2001.5 Nogaro Blue/sport package interior, 95xxx miles, AWE boost gauge, alcantara shift boot, Bailey Diverter Valves, RS4 clutch, "Piggie" downpipes, 18" Flik Justice wheels, timing belt, water puump, roller service done.

Why can't I find cars like this in my area, All the ones I find have zero work done to them, and they cost more. I search on Autotrader and Cars.com, and this board. Am I missing something??

I'm also in the same process as you are. In fact i'm waiting to hear back about my credit application and as soon as it's approved I got myself a S4..HOORAY!!! Anyways...i tend to think that the lower the mileage the better. I mean...yeah it's nice that some come with mods from the get go..but I prefer reliability and carlife above anything else. I chose a stock '01 with 60k for 14,490, and (crossing my fingers) everything goes well in the next few hours!!

I finally got the #1 (silver one), surprisingly it already got APR Bi-pipe and solid F-Hose from Vast i think.it runs pretty smooth, just that it has a leaky valve cover gasket i was told. might be a bad 02 sensor as well, pulled the code "02 Sensor Bank 1" sth like that, are there any members from the bay area would help me to VAG-COM the car please?
oh andigot a lot of boost spike with theGIAC chip, boost was like 24psi or sth like that, guess i will ned the MBC and TCD?
