i was talking to a guy who had stage 1 software, i forget by who. does that effect wear on the engine and turbo? seems like it would, but im not sure.

 

well all the advice u are getting is good advice ....... i personally like all the S line vehicles ........ but .. if i had a choice i would purchase a 93 to 94 ............. S4 ....... why ..... shape ...... size ....... and tuning ability ........ or i would 95 to 96 S6 with a bigger turbo and more HP ........... either or, i am enamoured with that model S series ........ ive heard the newer S4 series have a shorter lifespan and are prone to tranny problems ........ yes they are full of torgue and HP but the V6 which was first released in 93 to 94 in the 90 series was prone to headgasket issues also .......... now add that to a high compression twin turbo make up and im sure the list of problems must add up ......... one thing about the 2000 and up S4 i nearly wet myself over was the interior mix of suede and leather ......... WOW ...... i loved it the first time i sat in one ....... but then of course i didnt have 55 grand ......... oh well .......... as i said i will take a 94 S4 in navy blue or pearl white anyday over a newer S4 .....
