Here is the skinny.
YOU CAN NOT RUN A BOV ON A CLOSED LOOP SYSTEM, UNLESS YOU GET A ECU TUNE FOR IT! End of story. If you don't want to spend the $1000 to get the car tuned, you can not run it. YOU WILL loose performance, you WILL get CELS, you will loose gas mileage, you WILL wear out a lot of expensive parts (cats, EGT's, plugs).
This will also happen with the Hybrid DV's. less so, but still happen.
So, stock, or just a chip, Bosh 710n. If you want more get the Forge 007. Spending $800 for Hybrid DV's is a waste of $$ to make your car run like POOP!!!

first off i love audi's always have always will since i got my first one i havent ever got rid of her .......second off evo's and subies's..arent the onl jap cars out there i mean hell i got a subie in my driveway right next to both of my honda's.....for class style and comfort what else do i want but my audi

okay so random question now.....i feel like a newb asking it but what's the best up grade for dv's over bov since we cant use them successfully plus it gives away to much hear the pppphhhhhhhsssss sound lol

2 forge DV's are around 300$ FTW
2 710n's are around 100$ budget option
if a VTA BOV doesnt work on an Audi, quit frickin asking which kind to use...go to the rice-rocket forums

LOLOLOLOLOL no sh*t these silly ricers and there whooooosh pipe dreams LOL, just tear your bypass valve diaphram and it will whooosh but youll lose lots of boost.

Just start telling all the kids that ask for what bov to use to vent the stock. That way it still runs like crap, but they save money
