Unhappy Well Its Been A While...

... and my car is going down hill....

1. Bad 02 sensor on the drivers side causing missfires and super crappy gas milage.
2. Pass side turbo is starting to make a little bit of a dentist drill noise
3. All the control arms in the front need to be replaced
4. Due to #3 i need new front tires because it is wearing them super bad on the inside
5. Oil leak on the drivers side cam sensor area (not to bad yet)

Hopefully soon i will be able to start fixing all these problems.... GRRR

Just thought I would give you all an update.

Also i have heard about doing K03/K04 hybrids... where would I look into this? Thanks

Josh

Wow. I feel ya man.

Just a few weeks ago a deer smashed into me, need new fender, door, and mirror. Somehow my belt slipped in my practically new tires. My father backed into my front bumper. Also he scraped my powder coated wheels. One of my speakers are rattling now. Front windshield just cracked on me.

Sheesh, maybe its just that time of the year when S4s decide its time to get some new parts on em. And start breaking.

Look on the plus side, at least now you have an excuse to go at least somewhat stage 3

I feel your hurt, I have 4 wheel bearings, two primary 02's, k04's, inlets, hardware, airbag control module, 034 track motor, transmission, and diff mounts, snub with cage, JHM transmission rebuild, linkage, and bushing all sitting in my room. 034 3" downpipes and ER intercoolers are both in production now and are expected on my door step within a month.

Controll arms are expensive, i was going to go with the febi/bilsten kit on pureMS. They also sell a kit with the stern adjustable upper control arms, even more expensive though..

Are k04's an option? Id either get new CHRA's for your k03's or just go with k04's and 034 inlets. Hybrid k03's are limited by the small k03 housing, IMO more sensible to go the cheapest route and rebuild them rather than spend more money for not a lot more performance. Turbos can wait as long as you dont drive it hard...

Definitly find that oil leak though and do the O2's also

just think tho once everything is fixed you wont have to fix them for a long time...but then other things breakin in between...but those other problems wont!

damn sorry to hear, my car i've put about 7000 in parts almost and it still doesnt run yet. I put coolant in it today after having the motor back in, and it all leaked out of one of the rear lines off the driverside turbo Im going to see which line it is tonight, hopefully somethings just lose because I dont want to pull the motor again

Sometimes I wish I would have kept the A4 because way less maintenance and parts are cheaper

i think once you replace your 02 sensor that will help clear up some of the other issues cuz you're running rich right now and that can clog up your engine. also once you replace the egt sensor you should be up to full boost again. you might need to replace both egt sensors. i forget what website it is but they are a heck of a lot cheaper than most websites. and with the post above i wish i never sold my e36..way cheaper and waayyyy easier to work on

here's the diy...
http://www.audiworld.com/tech/eng73.shtml
still cant remember which site it was but vast, jhm and genuine audi all have them. but i want to say gen.audi had them for the pair for 380$ which was the cheapest ive found but i looked it up and now they're 375 a piece which makes me wonder if it was a different site. you could always find a decent used pair for maybe 50-75 bucks on ebay or a part out
