I recently got 2008 S6 CPO with 37k miles on it.

I was thinking usually we get bored on a car sooner or later.

What mod will be the best DYI mod you can do on an S6? I already have ROW(using led as HL) done.

Exhaust? preferably with an intake? what brand?

is there a good ECU mod? a safe one?

plz share some your ideas! if you have done some mod, I like to copycat them only if you think its cool to share.

 

i havent seen to many things available for this engine. i do know that milltek makes an exhaust, apr makes a chip and msds makes high flow air filters for the v10 s6.

 

I have Milltek exhaust in my S6 (C5) and it really makes a difference. It sounds great and response to throtle is quicker. I also have K&N high flow air filter. This spring I will have my software updated, don't know yet what program I will use. After these mods I expect power increase 340hp -> 385hp, 410Nm -> 440Nm

 

Lovely Note! I really like the sound of it.... wondering if I can duplicate the note on a different engine sound but most def., this is the first mod I am going for. Hopefully the parts are not too much expensive on it.

 

I also tried to google to find out more about the mods available on an S6 but only few were working on them and they seemed like pretty serious mods that might/will void my factory warranty. I am shopping for a new filters to put in soon but I changed the both filters on my last oil change.

Btw. have y had your motor de-carbonized? V10 engine have a bad habit to be coated with carbon and y will loose a lot of power cause of it.
