I'm new to audis but i'm looking at a 2000 audi S4 6-speed with 90,000 miles on it. They want 13,990 for it and it says that is has an over 3500 dollar 80k mile that was performed. Does that mean like the timing belt was replaced that that kind of stuff? just wondering because i'm going to look/test drive the car on saturday. Thanks guys

 

Yeah probaly timing belt, water pump, belts, and you'll have to ask what else for $3,500.

 

Why don't you ASK the dealer/person selling the car? They should be able to produce a receipt.

$3500 is much more then the TB service, that's only around $1000-1500 of it.

 

sounds like TB, 4 wheel brake service, tires, control arms...cam seals? Thats a big service get a recipt.
