What is safer?
Hello, everybody sorry im another guy with the tough question APR or GIAC....
I just bought a 2001 Audi S4 with 45,000 Miles on it...
Which chip should i get... i don't want to blow my turbos fast.. haha
which chip is a safer chip that will give me less risk.... APR or GIAC
I have heard that GIAC is a more aggressive chip.... and i haven't heard that much about the APR...
Who will give me the most HP and Torque...
another thing.. will my car become safer.. if i get an exhuast, intake, new diverter valves, before i get the chip?
will it be in less risk.
And if they do blow... ill have to save my money and buy some KO4 turbos.. that would be sick but they are like 5 grand with fueling kit but without manifold

APR and GIAC are equally as good of companies. I doubt you would notice a whole lot of difference between the two chips. Most people say to pick the one with a dealer closest to you. There is nothing you can do to prepare your turbos to last longer. They're gonna go when they're gonna go. It mostly just depends on how you drive the car. If you don't drive any harder than before you chipped then they will last the same as of not chipping at all.
APR has a very smooth power band.
GIAC is on the edge.
If you are a conservative driver, then the GIAC will be good.
If you drive hard, then the APR would be a better choice.
Definitely upgrade your DV's. The rest the upgrades won't have any detrimental affect.
