2019 S4 Prestige
I am close to purchasing a used 2019 S4 (blue) with 5k miles driven by dealership.
What should I be concerned about? Should I have them certify it?
Is there much wiggle room under the $51K asking price?
Am I better off saving some money and getting a 2019 A4 Titanium package
Any negotiating tips are greatly appreciated.

I recently bought a new S4 prestige. I love the car. I should note that I had been following these cars at dealers within about a 500 mile radius and found that in early October, they were starting to discount them heavily (probably in anticipation of new model coming out). One dealer which had four new S4's in stock was offering between $10k and $12k off MSRP. I bought my 2019 S4 prestige that was pretty loaded new for $54,500. Maybe that gives you a comparison point.

I did not learn of any problems from personal reviews. I primarily looked at the standard reviews and some utube posts. My experience is consistent with those reviews.
A couple of more comments. I had 2 BMW's before this. One was a 2007 328i and the other a 2012 335i sport. IMO the S4 is a better ride with a more refined and roomier interior. The S4 gas mileage is down from what I used to get with my 2012 335 BMW (26-28 combined, 34 highway), but I knew that going in. One thing I dislike with my new S4 is the automatic engine shut down at stop. Many people don't like this feature. I had it on my 335 and didn't mind it; it worked well. Most times, the engine would stay off till you took you foot off the brake to go. On my S4, most of the time it cuts off but starts up again in a few seconds. Not long enough to even make it worth cutting off. There is a button to defeat this, but I really do not want to have to hit it every time I get in the car. I am going to see if they can adjust this or tell me how to set no cut off as a default. On the positive side, once you engage lane assist and other driver assistance setting (other than adaptive cruise control), these stay set for the nest time you enter the car. One last observation, I got the sport package with the 19" wheels. While I love the look and the response on curves is great, the short tire walls do not dampen all the road roughness.

I too have bought a new 2019 S4 (premium plus) and can’t find any dip stick or other place to drain oil from the top... I know the stealer drains the oil from the top, and the filter access is “piece of cake”, so it must be there somewhere. Anyone know about this?

Yes, I do have a “service” package, but I like to know my cars... I am not one of those that doesn’t know a spark plug from a brake rotor.... changing the oil is a good way to inspect the condition and confirm repair of said vehicle I have to pay for.... yes, I will be changing my oil through the bottom drain, but at some point, I would like to do it without raising the vehicle since I do not have a lift...
I find that Audi is working very hard to alienate us from the basic service process...
