180 miles and she's at the Service Center
So, I had my beauty for about a day, the tint wasn't even dry on the windows and I was driving to work early in the morning. About 35 minutes into the drive my headlights start flashing on and off and then go totally dark - I work in a remote desert area...No light out at all. I pull over safely, turn the car off hoping a restart will help. Half the front lights come on, enough to get me the rest of the way to the office.
After about 15 minutes at the office, I turned it on and all the lights worked fine. What the hell. Off to the Service Center.
Received a call yesterday and they had pulled a couple fault codes, but could not pinpoint the cause of the failure. So a call is in to the engineers at Audi.
Haven't heard from them today, so I don't expect they discovered anything remarkable.
I haven't seen or heard of any significant long-term gripes with AUDI reliability, so I hope I'm not the 1% so-to-speak.
