When I start the vehicle - The center display shows "SERVICE!" for a few seconds (w an audible alarm) and then goes away.

Im looking in the service manual and can't find what this is eluding to.

Has anyone had this?

Its not the service for Oil or Insp which is on the Odometer.

 

just warning of upcoming maintenance. doesnt mean anything is wrong with the car. you can get it cleared at the dealer or with vag-com.
