Default 2009 Audi S5 8MT

I drove one of these at the local dealership. The car seems cherry, with only 55,000 miles. It drove beautifully.

My big question is how long clutches last in these cars. Their inspection and repair report says the clutch was worn out, so they replaced it. On the one hand, yay, brand new clutch, but on the other, that seems like a really short time for a clutch to last, unless the last owner abused it.

I've got to figure that unless you consider yourself a pro with the stick, you don't get this car with the stick. And you sure don't teach your teenager how to drive a stick on this car, because for the cost of a new clutch in this car, you can buy 2 entire old Corollas.

So, how long do clutches typically last in this car? And what else should I look for in deciding whether to pull the trigger?
