It's a world record holder, it's been recognized internationally, it’s cranking out 458HP, and it's the only Samoa Orange S5 in the US (so we hear). However, there comes a time for every AWE Tuning family member to graduate, and now is that time for the original member of the #orangecarclub.



The AWE Tuning Samoa S5 has been gingerly used for research, development and marketing. Garage kept all of its life and detailed regularly, the car has spent its two years at AWE Tuning as a show car and an eye catching short-distance commuter. Damnit, Zack, too soon!

 

'Twas a day of mixed emotions as we saw our Samoa Orange superstar head off to its new home in Sin City, to start a new life. It’s been a drag strip world record holder, it’s seen shows, and it’s seen international media. So it’s only fitting that its new home will be in the Entertainment Capital of the World.

Before we could send her off to the strip, we made sure to shine her up one last time for the final deal:


It’s going to be strange not seeing her parked out front.


Fresh rubber, ready for Sin City.


Sure to be the best looking weave in Vegas.


That Samoa glow.


Shortly after our morning photo session, the transporter rolled in, ready to load the S5 up and carry it off to its new home on the western front.




Plenty of care was taken to ensure the S5 was loaded without incident.


Talk about a tight fit.


Fully docked and ready to rock.


One last look before she hits the road.
