So i bought a 2012 R5 Sportback and of course the gas cap is messed up. When I hit lock, the gas cap unlocks, and when I hit unlock, the gas cap locks. Anyone every have a problem like this? Any suggestions? I can't seem to find anything on this, but see a tonne of posts about the gas cap lock refusing to open the cap door.

Was contemplating re pinning the wires to the lock, but have no luck removing the pins. Thanks for any suggestions.
