I had broken window clips which prevented the driver's side window from rolling up and down effectively. Can you hear a motor turning over? Is this a problem with all the windows? Is your window lock button stuck?
I would definitely check your fuses. If that prove ineffective I would start checking your switches and motor with the inner door cover removed.
