ok when i start the car, the screen on the dashboard says that the my door is open and it makes a sound obviously when u have a door open, but i dont, what should i check? is that a sensor? where is it? TIA

I sometimes have this problem in the summer. There is a small switch where the door latch mechanism is. On my car, the door latch does not come down all the way and I need to lubricate it to get rid of the problem. If that does not work, you might have to replace the switch.
