Hi all.

i recently acquired a 1990 GT quat coupe. the body, interior, etc is beautiful.. a nice solid "keeper".. 88k miles. problem is the previous owner was "less than forthcoming" about a few other issues.

i think the 4 wheel quat system is completely shot. brakes lock up if the antilock is not overidden... the corners are grabbing 9reminds me of an old jeep cj being in low and driving it to fast)... i don't even know where to start.
could be a module, the diff/.. or the whole thing is trash.
its such a clean car.. i'd like to give it a "try" before I part it out.. or sell for parts.... but i need an estimate to fix.. and a diagnosis of whats wrong.
took to our local Porsche/ MB import shop on the shore... and the mechanic does not even want to touch it. says the audi quat system is too complex, etc .. not worth the money to fix.
so.... does anyone have any reccomendations on a shop in the Annapolis- baltimore- dc area that could at least take a look?
any shops familiar with the 90 quat system???

RAI motorsports is in East Baltimore. I don't have any personal experience but they are active on the forums and do some interesting mods in addition to routine maintenance at decent prices. Induktion motorsports is in Severn. Their website is 4induktion.com. Also no experience but they do some sick VW builds in addition to maintenance. Check them both out
