I am looking for shops that deal in either APR, REVO or GIAC in the DC, VA, MD area. I am looking to get mycar chipped soon so any suggestions anyone can give me would be great. Thanks for your advice!

Don't forget New German Performance. They have two shops, one in NOVA (Lorton) and another in Aberdeen, MD. They do APR and I like them very much.

I`ve had all my work done at NGP. Great place no problems.

And if NGP is too far you can go to Autoy & Autowerke in Rockville. They are an MTM reseller. I've had a few jobs done there and their Audi guy (Valentine) is quite good.

The owner races old BMW's and is in the process of rebuilding a B5 S4 as a daily driver. Like I said I like them and they do good work! I would avoid Pro Imports (local Revo dealer) like the Ebola virus.

I was nonplussed with them. They took over an hour to flash my car with a Revo test file...and I just did not get a sense of confidence from them at all. They seemed very amateur to me.

I definitely won't be going back there and based on my experience would not recommend them to anyone. Maybe they do good work but I need to feel like my car is in good hands and I did not get that from Pro Imports. NGP and Autoy & Autowerke are both great shops.
