I know that trucks can be fast but they are called pick-ups for a reason. That reason is to pick things up and tow stuff, stop trying to race them.

Pickup trucks are coming from the factory with power and handling options well beyond what you might expect,Dodge offers a SRT-10 model with a 500+hp Viper engine, lowered suspension, big 4 wheel disc brakes and an interior that looks like a sports car. Then they have a good old boy from NASCAR drive it past 158 mph on TV,just to make their point.Ford offers a supercharged Lightning truck and Chevy offers an allwheel drive 345hp SS truck.Don't be fooled into thinking that because it's a pickup truck it's slow and only capable hauling a load. Those trucks can run and handle like a sports car.

They do run good I know, they don't handle as well as you would think and at the end of the day they are still a truck. So why waste money in trying to make them go fast when a car that costs half the price will kick its ***?

Well there are people out there that need more then a two seater tiny car.

Sport trucks are a well grounded machine.
Thee Chevy SS for instance is fast as heckgo look at 1/4 times there not bad at all.and on top of that it can seat5 and tow a 30 foot camper with an ATV in the back.

You have to respect something that can do so much and do it pretty well.

the ss is not a quarter horse, it is the slowest of the 3 if i was looking at a sport truck i would go with the 4 door srt of if it was a second car the lightning

or screw them all and get a fast car

rs4, vet, or something faster than the average car

The only reason I would buya truck is for towing or hauling. I have no respect for fast trucks since money can make anything fast. They simply just don't impress me and I would rather see them towing race cars home than trying to become one themselves.

Well my friend has a 1500 hemi with a double cab and the 20inch wheels. I have an a4 with 170hp and whenever we race I always beat him off the line (thanks to quattro) but at about 60mph he takes over.
