Don't forget this friend was somehow dumb enouph to "blow" his engine in a pretty new car. I can just imagine the condition, quality of install, and state of tune of the "new" WRX engine.

nah this kid really didnt know $hit about how to drive. he wont tell anyone how he blew his first engine, but a car with less then 15K on it dosent blow for no reason. the only reason i even thought there might b a chance is cause ive been street racing for about 2 years, and not to brag but im not too bad at it. ive been in this kids car while he was driving before and this kid just all around cant drive a 5 speed, he really should have an automatic. this was a few weeks ago now and i havent really seen the kid since then so i gotta ask him if he still has a clutch next time i see him. but all im tryin to say is sometimes the driver really matters.

Doesn't matter. His car can be launched at idle and with a missed shift or 2 and still beat ur stock B5 to 90. Don't forget,if u hit 90 thats a bit more then a quarter so he shoulda been haulin *** like a **** by this point. Bein as he's got 75+ ponies on you. His car goes to 60 in a hair under 6 seconds, you in nothin less then 8+ seconds. he blasts the traps in the quarter in 14.6 seconds, you in 16.5-17 seconds. Shitty driving doesn't acount for 2 seconds in a 20 second evernt. Almost as funny as when a guy on here said he beat a bike in his TT.

I believe that could happen, if the guy really doesnt know how to drive. Maybe he bogged on the start, shifted to 2nd and 3rd at like 4500rpms, and missed 3rd too. It could happen, it is just hard to believe. Stranger stuff has happened.

And as far as a TT beating a bike, there is an awd one in town putting down 626whp, I am pretty sure he could take a number of bikes down on the highway........

Quattro, it's best to ignore him. We all do. That sweet red hand icon will do it for you.

A stock 600cc bike possibly. Nothing more than that. It usually takes 600-650whp to take down a 600cc bike. And the car's advantage would be on the top-end....

Sorry going to have to proclaim BS on this. Stock vs stock not possible. That impreza would be slightly heavier than the WRX but still wouldn't create that big of a difference, AWD on launch would blow you away. By the sounds of it you were racing yourself. And yeah bikes are possible, when my RX was fairly stock, just a full exhaust, stock boost, cooler, ecu, ect. I was able to take down the L-plate bikers. But your right, on launch the bikes destroy, not till the 2nd>3rd shift you start pulling by end of 3rd usually walked ahead abit.

I'd like to know what he did to drop that WRX engine in. Wouldn't be seeing too many of them around for sale and it would be a pretty hard task to do.

What stock WRX were u drivin puttin down bikes. I can see maybe a 250CC Ninja as its a parallel twin making 24hp and doin high 14's in the quarter. Even an inline 250cc is gonna be low 14s, super high 13's. Inline 400's are good for high13's low 12's. Paralell twin 500's are good for mid 13's all day long. 650cc V-twin and paralell twins are good for low 12's all day. 600 and 1000CC Inline 4's,V4's and twins are running mid 11's with the average street rider and getting to 140 in a quarter mile or so for a 600 and 150 or so on a liter. YOur WRX tops out due to gearing at like 155 or 160 doesn't it? I don't understand what bike ur racin to pull on him at 65 mph or so and hold the lead unless he's incompetent. If your car can accelerate from 50-115 in 3and a half seconds then go 125-170 in 8 seconds I give u props. There are cars that can take 600's from any speed between 0 and 140 but they are few and far between. Liters, next to nill. Not unless ur gonna race from 170-210 as a liter tops out at around 190 ish or so and is governed to "only" 186. A busa or ZX-14 no cars got a prayer as derestricted with a PC3 and full system with an elimination of the cats they will pull to 200+ mph in only a mile and top out in the 205ish range.

F-1 car vs bike F1 car less then a second faster and it's got 4 enourmous tires, weighs nothing and makes a god awful lotta power.

^ I beg to differ about some of your statements. There are plenty of car out there that will put a liter bike down. And some that will even take out a Busa or ZX-14. THOSE cars are few and far between. I've seen vids of 1,200+ whp Supra's and Viper's taking out the big togs and modded 1000's. But again, they're a rarity....
