WOW, that post almost made sense........ EXCEPT....... High altitudes hurts normally aspirated cars more than it does cars w/ forced induction. So there goes that one. Next up, I don't just race from a roll douche bag. I don't care, I'll race from a dig, too. Racing from a dig, provided the cars are fairly equal, pretty much shows who is the better driver due to fact that you have reaction time, and launching technique. Racing from a roll, however, where the difference in skill level between the drivers is less important, shows which CAR is really faster, due to the emphasis on powerband, engine output, gearing, etc. SO....... before you start talking a bunch of ****, AGAIN, do some research, biatch......

BTW, you just got [sm=owned.gif]
I thought people raced to win not see whos car is faster. Race to see who's sh it is faster and if they can handle the power and ptu it to the ground. Anybody can go out and buy a car that amkes a lot of power beat down people from a roll. Next time use a good and funny pic instead of some lame gif smilie.

Wow, okay. I thought some people raced to do both. Hence, me saying I don't race from dig always. I usually leave it up to the other person. If they wanna race from a dig, fine. If they wanna race from a roll, fine. I can launch my car well enough to surprise a few AWD owners, so it doesn't matter to me. As for the smiley, I guess I just thought only losers, w/ nothing better to do search the web to find a "funny" pics to post at the bottom of their replies. I was just mikng a point, what he said was totally wrong. But, just for you.....[8D][&:][:@][:'(][X(][:-][&o][sm=icon_beat.gif][sm=groupwave.gif][sm=happybounce.gif][sm=icon_blah.gif]

Awd has less power to the ground so how are you suprising them? You know how to not spin the wheels I guess? With traction control theres not to much spin even when going hard on the clutch, at least for my dads GT there isnt....meh

But then again I'm sure GT's lose to your Z and you usually beat them by a cars length from a roll... So save yourself the typing. We know whats coming our way.

No, I can't launch w/out spinning the wheels, but some wheelspin is actually desired (for RWD, street carw/ street tires) in order to keep the engine in it's powerband. If you launch a RWD car, and don't get ANY wheelspin, you're prob gonna bog and get your *** handed to you. My car doesn't have traction control, so it's all up to me. I hold it at about 3300rpm, let the clutch out real fast (but don't dump it), and feed in throttle until it hooks. Your dad's Mustang GT has a solid rear axle vs my IRS setup, and that allows them to make better use of their power, and therefore launch better.

GT's and my car are pretty much a driver's race. They are tough, though because they're solid axle and usually get pretty good launches. I've beat some, and I've been beat by some.
