yeah..the CLK 430 was a clean looking ride but only 275 HP in 2001-2...Really dissapointing. The AMG package was only for looks..Body skirts/spoilers, wheels, interior refinements and some other goodies. In the way of the motor, I don't think it was touched...someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Mercedes as a whole are freakin boat anchors in the weight department. Nice to own,go decent in a straight line,but that pork affects handling.

Yea,they look hot. They aren't that fast 0-30 cause of super tall gearing in the 1992-i think like 2000 or somethin SL500. Problem is it gains speed like a freight train after 30 and it still feels gutless,until u look down see 90+ on the speedo,realize u had ur foot 2 the floor for 7 or 8 seconds from 20,do the math and are like holy cow. The more powerful ones such as the 5.0 V-8 SL500 are as relaxed at 50 as a 150. My boss has the Sl500 mentioned and all I can say is crusie control is a wonderful liscence retaining feature the car has.

WHAT!!!, how do you not notice somthing like a supercharger? did you even look under the hood?
