I was wondering if its possible to swap my 1.8T motor with a S4 twinturbo motor? And if so what would i have to change besides the engine? Thanks

Step 1: sell A4
Step 2: but S4

Yes but i want to keep my audi, and also insurance would go up with S4

 

No one here is going to give advice on the S4 motor to and A4 body swap. Mostly because they're right. Doing the swap is not worth the costs. Any problems you run into are going to be harder to diagnose. Plus, all the supporting mods you'll need to have an appropriately balanced S4 conversion (struts, brakes, and everything else) are going to tally up the bill quickly. The difference in insurance between A4 and S4 is really not that much, if any at all depending on your record and who you get insured through. Do some price quotes to find out the differences. But realistically, for the amount of time and work needed to swap the motors, your best bet is just to trade up. Or buy an additional car and turn it into a track only car, if you have the pocket money for it

 

Well 1.8T it is then! Lol, im just gonna get mine to around 300 HP and leave it at that

 

Which will be cheaper than a swap anyway...
