Default audi a4 1.8tq vs audi a4 1.8t fwd

So I was following my girlfriend home from work, when another a4 pulls up behind me, now my gf doesn't like me racing, but i wasnt gonna pass up a chance to race a fellow audi, so i get in the turn lane as does he, and i take off, so does he, and at the next light i lit him up, he was spinning his tires while i pulled away smoothly, no offense to the fwd's, but audi made quattro for a reason

If you were both stock, he would have pulled you, the quattro is great though.

i have a nonquattro and granted it SUCKS that i spin tire, but its quite a bit lighter than the quattro...
i have also been told that the FWD 1.8t is a pretty saught after version

Well, that really depends on what kind of driving you do and where you live...
