well, my friend and i went out for a drive today. he owns a white evo viii with a 2 inch drop and a custom AEM air intake (big cone). we got onto the merrit pkwy and did a few pulls. he obviously beat me, but still, i had fun. although, i kicked his rear end when he first got the car. that one was from a stop.

 

hahah 2.8 naturally asperated engine vs. a lighter 2.0 turbocharged rocket...niiiceee. my roommate has an evo 8 with, lw wheels, exhaust, intake, dv, boost controller, chip flash, downpipe, i think that is it...and he pretty much smoked me from a dead stop...had me by about 4-5 car lengths...this was back when my car was stock.
Now I have several mods (below), when he gets his car out of the shop I will ask for a rematch and maybe get creamed by only 2 lengths next time.
