i have a friend that just added a SC in his S2K. he also has an exhaust and intake. im going to add an APR chip and get a dyno tune within the week. after that im probably going to call him out to race. What do you think? Whos going to win?

 

Him. FI S2K's are typically high 12 cars. Good luck, though.....

the thing that gets me is that he dynoed his car and only got a 278/212 ( torque around that ball park ). Yes his car is lighter but S4 are AWD so at a stop it should be close. i dont know. i'll let you guys know who wins in a few days

 

That puts his 2,900lb car at about 325 hp. And S2000's launch like nobody's business. They'll more than surprise you for being rwd. So I still see a bad out come for you, sorry.....

if i dont win i'm going to build my car to win. only because hes hella cocky about his car and im just trying to put him back in place.

 

i think it will be close.... the s2k from the factory was really not too impressive to me... it definetly needs a sc..... the damn thing has NO tourque.... and starts pulling pretty hard around 6500-7000rpm....

I agree ^^^ Those S2000's have no torque whatsoever and until your redlining the thing it doesnt get down the road...Launch hard and stick it and I think you will have a chance.I was totally unimpressed with the s2000 after I drove one. Now...I had a channce to drive a 1993 Toyota Mr2 MK11 Bodystyle with a 2.0 turbo. That little mid engine car hauls ***. They still look good too.With some minor MODS they can easily put out upwards of 280 HP at 220-30 ft lbs. of torque. The car only weighs 2300 wet.
