I’m just looking for some help and much needed advice or what direction to go from here. In October my front end suspension quite working. A few months before that I was at a busy intersection making left turn and everything locked up. Almost ran into a green house. Had all control arms replaced. Back to suspension. My mechanic friend said it was the struts/air bags. Bought two new ones and he installed. After two weeks he said he no longer wanted to work on it and didn’t understand why it wasn’t working. Had it towed and upon arrival it seemed a lot worse. It was down to bump stops on all 4 and vents in bumper missing, and random aggravating things. Since then, I found someone else whom is a certified Audi technician. We have now replaced the compressor and relay. The back end is going up, but the front is still down to bump stops. Our next step is to jack it up and he’s going to check connections and do the soapy water test. The code I’ve gotten from the beginning and we are still getting is 00014-air leak. I’m tired of throwing money at it and he suggested ordering a ride height sensor for right side. Which is where it first began. Can anyone help me with some advice or ideas of what the culprit may be. One more thing....I have my old struts. One does what it should when we put a compressor to it. The other seems like it’s not even taking the air in at all. I looked into the valve and it’s closed completely. Not sure if that’s relevant, but trying to put it all out there.
