Default 2001 Allroad - fix for sagging air suspension

I am interested in a 2001 Allroad; suspension totally sagging.
Is there a quick fix? I would rather drive the car instead of trailoring it back.
Or can it be driven (1000 mls) with a 'flat' suspension?

What is the 'official' fix?
What is the often mentioned "Arnott" kit doing (vs. the OEM fix).
Prices?

The quick fix is the slime method that can be found in various discussions on this forum. I would not drive with a flat suspension as if the suspension is leaking you run the risk of adding a new compressor to your list of needs. The Arnott suspension is significantly cheaper than OEM, $300.00 each for the front (The most likely to leak) vs approx $600.00 for OEM and comes with a lifetime warranty, check out their web site, and then visit Amazon or something to complete a purchase.

I have used the slime technique and it did work although the other day when my car was parked on a side slope it went flat again. I parked it level and for two days now no problem observed. I will be switching to Arnott suspension as soon as I can, but the slime fix continues to work for the most part. It should be noted that the hole I found in the air bag was pretty large and I did not think that the slime would work and I was wrong. Start there and hope for the best. Good luck

Main reason for me to ask for quick fix is if I need to tow or can drive (with quick fix applied) a sagging car back.
In this case, one that I may want to buy.

I will read up on the slime fix.

As long as its not flat, its driveable. Slime it and pump it up before driving. Its a band-aid, but it will get you home.
