Suspension Is your ride slammed to the ground? Did you lift it so high you need a ladder to get in? Step in and let's talk about it.

Default 5000cs Turbo

I'm looking to change the the shocks and springs on my 86 5000cs turbo fwd auto.
I am wanting to lower the cars stance a little and am finding that there are no lowering springs available for the rear on this make. I've check some of the usually suspects for audi parts, even the 2bennett boys know of nothing for this make, and suggested altering the perch. I am fine with this the 86's don't have the flared fenders and I probably would not want to lower the rear more then a 1/2 inch max.
Does anyone know of anything spring wise, I can't even find stock type springs? I do not want to gut all the suspension and keep on 23 year old springs at the rear.

PS - I was all in favor of the bilstein sports, but 2bennett may have convinced me to go with the koni sports. Don't know if its worth the extra couple hundred bucks? If it really only comes down to rougher vs. smoother ride, then probably not. I like it rough
