Just purchased 2002 Audi TT Quattro; has ABS light on. Seller mentioned rear brakes need attention so started there. Found broken coil springs both sides so I am replacing them with the sear on top and the rear shocks. However, still looking for ABS problem. Cant really locate rear ABS sensors. Could they have removed them?
Second quesyion. Checking the fronts and have located the ABS sensors and look okay. However, on the drivers side the line to the AB S senor has a splitter and another line going to the bottom side of the caliber and the connection looks bad; wired bent at the connector. I have to either get under it or remove the caliber. What is this second line only on the drivers side?
I will probably replace all sensors however, why can't I find them in the rear, I know what the part looks like, but the rears may just be rectangular box shaped connectors in the line going to the caliber.
