Default Alignments for aftermarket suspension?

I heard about Firestone's lifetime alignments for $149, then found out that adding any aftermarket suspension components would void the warranty. Does anyone know of a similar deal from a different company for cars with non-OEM suspension?

the lifetime alignment does not apply to certain audis and all mercedes and bmws. any car thats lowered no body will do a lifetime alignment deal. your going to have to find a local shop or tuner shop who does alignments.

My 02 a4 quattro is lowered and the firestone down the street gave me the lifetime alignment. I guess it just depends on the store manager.

it must. when i had my civic they wouldnt let me do lifetime alignment cause it was lowered and it void the lifetime guidelines. they wont give me life time on my a6 cause there computer says that i need to take off the steering wheel and re center it for the alignment to be correct so i cant do lifetime.

Remove the steering wheel? Now that's crazy!

I brought my A4 to one shop and they said they couldn't align it because the car's alignment was computer controlled or something like that. I got it done at another shop with no problem, a four wheel alignment for $75. They didn't use a computer or anything, just hand tools and tape measures. Does anyone know what difference an alignment machine with a computer would make?

the tape measure is old school at its best. i would assume the lazer align is better but who knows.

If they didn't use a computer nor laser technology like more respected shops do these days you got ripped off. I took my A4 to sears and they wouldnt do it because they are bunch of jackasses who know jack ****. Then the same day took it to good year and they had a guy who specializes in alignments who does them all day long and he had no problem doing it all without removing the wheel and had all the proper tools to do it. 70 bucks later and 1.5 hours of waiting car was done and drove much better than before. IMO you should of taken it to someone who does it professionally with proper tools and not tape measure
