Default B5 A4/S4 tranny mount differences?

Hey all, question...are there any differences between the mounts used on B5 S4s and A4s. I realize that the transmissions are way different but could they still have the same type of mount?

Also the forward rear diff mount on an S4; are there any other chassis that use the same part number or is it specific to the S4.

Cheers

i honestly dont know much about this, but i believe i have read online somewhere that the S4 mounts are stiffer, which does make a large difference.

The mounts are the same design, the OEM S4 2.7t transmission mounts are the same as the OEM A4 2.8 mounts. Only the A4 1.8t manual uses a different type of mount design on the driverside. This is because the A4 1.8t manual comes with a different sub frame then all the other B5's.

So a transmission mount for a S4 will work on a A4. This is why the aftermarket B5 transmission mounts will fit all of the B5's, but the A4 1.8t Manual can only use that mount on the passenger side.

The rear diff mount is the same in all the B5's.
