So my friends 97 a6 quattro has its passager front tire facing inwards all the other wheels seem to line up perfectly straight. Any idea what the problem can be? He cant drive it cause it rubs the fender...when I looked under the car I saw no bent or broken anything. Boots seem sealed...so I'm at a loss...he just bought the car 3weeks back for 3gs. Also noticed the front sits a lot higher than the rear, it wasnt like that before is this a separate issue?Any help is much appriciated

 

pull the wheel off and it should be pretty obvious... sounds like a broken tie rod. When you turn the steering wheel, does that wheel turn or not? The spindle on that side could have broken too, cuz thats weird that it all the sudden is siiting higher... but pop that wheel off and post more pics if your still confused.
