Default higher profile snows are kissing the undercarriage on hard bumps

I mounted some 225/55 R17 Altimax snows on another set of stock rims for our New England winters. I knew I was going up an inch in overall height (1/2" above the stock tire in the wheel well.)
As soon as I had them mounted, I could see there may be a problem. Sure enough, I hear the momentary touching of tire against body occasionally on rough pavement. I don't think I'll do damage to the car (hoping I never hit the pothole from hell, of course). My car is an 08 A3 s line. Is there a 'quick' fix for this? I don't want to spend more money than simply buying another set of stock 45 profile tires and selling these. Are there any other options?
Thanks.
