I have a 98 A4 quattro 1.8T.. I have a rattle from the rear driverside of the car.. it rattles only on small bumps and low speeds. It sounds tinny, but I cant trace it to the exhaust. It is something with the rear suspension I am guessing? Has anyone seen or had this issue?? Please respond asap!!

I have a 97 2.8 Quattro that had some noise from the rear going over bumps, along with some weird sensations when cornering. The ant roll bar attachment point to the linkages were both cracked and one had broken off. This is a welded part of the subframe. Bottom line is $1200 for the parts(new subframe) plus labor. No recall from Audi that I know of and apparently it happes on some cars. Neuspeed shows a added brace and a note to look for cracks. I've had this car since it was new.
