This is my first post here, but I don't doubt that you are all wonderful and help me massively

I have an Audi A3 8L (2003) and want to lower the suspension by about 40mm. I read in a couple of places that you can do this without buying new springs. Alternatively, I've found some springs here, which would lower the car 40mm. Would these be sufficient as an alternative?
