My A6 Avant has about 100K on it, and I think it is about time for a new set of shocks. While at it, I was planning to get lowered springs as well.

If I go with Koni yellows, or even Bilsteins, they have two different varieties. One for the factory sport suspension and the other for the factory regular suspension. I heard in some cases where using regular shocks with lowered springs bottom out the shocks.

So here is my question. With lowered springs, Eibachs to be exact, do I get the shocks made for the factory sports suspension, or the regular suspension? Any input greatly appreciated.
