DO NOT CUT YOUR SPRINGS!!!! ever, seriously. I know its a cheap/free and easy fix, but it ruins your springs/ride. Sell your springs and get coil-overs, or buy the ecs spring to coilover "conversion" kit.

They're progressive springs. Start cutting coils off and you're going to F up the dynamics designed into the suspension. You won't have the proper damping control (which can lead to shitty ride quality, worn struts, and possible loss of control in some situations), and will likely visit your bumpstops frequently. Seriously, leave the coil-cutting to the 1988 four-door Civic "Type-R"s that seem to infest every town. If you want to be low, do it correctly.
