The only camber correction I've seen is the Stern adjustable upper control arms, and those things are big money and rare. I have coilovers on my car and with the front dropped 2.5", there's very little camber change evident. 99% of us with lowered A4s have no camber kits - we got the cars aligned as much as possible back to spec and called it good. I haven't seen anyone tearing up their inner tires yet.
As for what springs, I'm a big fan of the H&R Race Springs - 2" front, 1.6" rear drop. Buddy of mine on here lives locally and has them on his car, and they look great. You can see the drop I have if you go to the thread about "chrome wheels on a black car" in the B5 A4 section - scroll down in there and you'll find pics I posted of my car with 18" wheels and the coilovers on the car (in my sig, the car isn't yet lowered).
