Vague steering
I have a 2006 Audi A4 2.0t with factory sport suspension.
Mods:
034motorsports rear sway bar, street density motor mounts and transmission mount
ECS tuning rear differential mount
Apikol snub mount
I've also removed relay for servotronic
Someday will install 034motorsports rear differential carrier bearing
Enkei 18" wheels Goodyear all seasons
Factory:
sport suspension
front sway bar
Stock front and rear endlinks.
For most cars this is a non-issue. However, I was able to take car onto local track with some sharp curves. At around 70mph the steering felt pretty vague.
I know the car has more. I know I could upgrade to 034motorsports endlinks but would rather stick to a factory application, I've heard about issues with spherical bearings.
I could also go with heavy duty replacement tie rods.
What would you guys recommend as something that I can do to improve the car just a little bit more? I fully plan to replace front end links. While doing some work under front of the car I've noticed there is sizeable gap on drivers side end link rubber
