Cool What could be the cause of cutting rear tires?

Hi
Is there anybody who can tell me why my car cats rear tires from the inside side? It happens only to rear.
I went to Audi dealership to ask them what is going on and they told me that because I have brand new tires in the front (continental) and used (5/32) in the back (Pirelli). They told me to buy new tires in the back and everything will be fine. But I believe that this is BS.
Alignment was checked twice and its fine.

Any ideas? I do not want to spent about 500$ for two tires if they can not be the cause.

My 2000 a4 avant is doing the same thing. Getting ready to do springs and shocks to see if that helps. It needs it anyway. I've also had an alignment done.

it was long ago but I finally know what was the problem.
People from dealership were right. The cause of it was different tires front to rear.
I had to buy all new tires and now everything is fine.
