I bought a 98 Audi A4 with an airbag light on. I have already changed the connectors under the seat, so I bought a third party scanner to clear the code. I also downloaded vcds lite. When running the supplied program or lite I get an error that it can't connect to the controller. Do you guys think it is the cable, controller, or maybe need an official Ross-tech scan?

 

any thoughts or help?
